A key player in the Healthcare Emergency and Nurse Call Systems sector currently has an opening for a Field Service Commissioning Engineer.
Key Duties:
- Service and repair of all systems on site.
- Preventative Maintenance Inspections.
- Installation work.
- System commissioning.
- Technical assistance by telephone.
- Participate in an on-call Rota.
- On-site technical back up to sub-contractors and/or other installation companies.
- Stock control of spare parts.
- Be confident and comfortable working in hospitals with challenging environments.
Job Competencies/Key Skills:
- Familiarity with a range of hand tools.
- Come from an alarm background - Security Alarm, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm or Nurse Call systems.
- Familiarity with a range of soldering tools.
- Knowledge of test equipment to include DVM, oscilloscopes.
- Ability to work individually or part of a team.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Well organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
Essential:
- Knowledge of computers.
- UK Driving license and license check.
- DBS Check.
- Must be willing to travel.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Field Service Commissioning Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Repair Engineer, Installation Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Worcester or be willing to relocate.
