We are seeking an IT Support technician to assist an Investment Bank with Trade Floor and User support. Working in the IT Support team and wider production department with day to day business as usual activities.
Responsibilities:
- Day to Day support and maintenance of IT, including liaising with head office and IT teams on norms and standards and helping to bridge the skills and knowledge gap.
- Following correct processes and procedures in line with standard operating procedures.
- Telecoms support included.
Tasks and Skills required:
- Provide high quality IT support
- Good level of knowledge in all areas of IT troubleshooting - Windows OS environment
- Good level of knowledge on IT protocols - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc
- Good level of knowledge on Telecoms (Mobile phone/Dealerboards/Softphone)
- Quality documentation is created where necessary and updated
- Being a proactive driver of change within the IT perimeter.
- Able to work autonomously
