Established company operating in the S2P (Source-to-Pay) / Procurement / Purchasing Software sector is looking to recruit an experienced Software Pre‑Sales Consultant. You will combine subject knowledge with technical expertise to demonstrate S2P solutions to prospects and customers whilst supporting Business Development during the pre‑sales process.
Key tasks/Duties
- Provide technical assistance during the pre‑sales process by understanding customer requirements and designing solutions.
- Be the solution expert on video / conference calls and face‑to‑face meetings.
- Perform solution demos for the sales team.
- Tailor demos to customer requirements.
- Respond accurately and promptly to customers.
Competencies
- Experience of working face to face with prospects and customers.
- Be resilient, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate solutions to prospects and customers confidently.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
- Have the ability to explain technical specifications and product functionality to C‑Suite executives.
- Willing to travel.
Essential Experience
- 2/3 years minimum experience in either a previous software pre‑sales role or a role with basic understanding of the S2P cycle.
