Senior Electrical Design Engineer
A leading specialist engineering company based in Grantham, providing solutions to the oil, gas, water and construction industries have an immediate requirement for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join them.
As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will have experience in the electrical testing of LV control panels.

As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be working within a team producing Control Panels including :
- To produce general arrangement drawings and schematic drawings for transformer rectifiers and switch-mode modules.
- Produce bill of materials
- Produce fabrication drawings using autoCAD and solidworks (they must at least 3 year experience with both)
- Liaise with clients and their representatives during witness FAT.
- Prepare test certificates and associated documentation.
- Working to other technical drawings (GA’s, fabrication etc.)
- Working to electrical schematic drawings
- Working to deadlines
- Testing remote monitoring systems
- Produce label drawings using autoCAD
- To assist in our test bay during busy periods of manufacturing
Skills Required
- Background of electrical testing using single phase and 3 phase voltages (must have at least 3 years experience)
- Strong MS Office Skills (Required)
- AutoCAD and solidworks (must have at least 3 years)
- Control panel design (must have at least 3 years)
- Knowledge of PCB design
- Understanding of communication protocol (RS485 / RJ45 / serial / etc)
- Formal electrical qualification
