The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
You will be joining an established and expanding consultancy with the objective of undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 at client sites, mainly South East of England and the Midlands.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments and ideally from a Legionella Consultancy background
- More experienced candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience with High Risk Water Systems (Open evaporative cooling systems / Spa Pools / other High Risk Systems)
- Will have a good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these
- An approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification eg. City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc
- A good working knowledge of ACOP L8 & Guidance Documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Be fluent in both verbal and written English
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019
- Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers
- Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction and management of risk
- Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports
The role will suit individuals currently working as Legionella Risk Assessor, Water Treatment Engineer, ACOP L8 Risk Assessor, Water Hygiene Consultant and be living within a commutable distance of London, Reading, Watford, Luton, Guildford, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Chelmsford, Hertford, Hemel, High Wycombe or be willing to relocate.
