As a Field Service Engineer in the Fire Alarms & Security Alarms sector, your role involves full responsibility for completing preventative, reactive and remedial works across a wide variety of domestic and commercial properties to a professional standard of work in and around London.
Job Responsibilities:
- The professional delivery of maintenance on integrated electronic fire and security systems.
- Carry out small works/repairs on domestic and commercial properties.
- Completing Asset logs of equipment on site.
- To manage your own workload throughout the day and ensuring the completion of each job in a timely manner.
- Communicating and reporting to the office on a daily basis.
- Dealing with clients face to face in a professional manner.
- Working hours 8am – 5pm.
Knowledge/Experience required:
- Detailed knowledge of the principles of fire and security systems, British Standards.
- Relevant qualifications NSI/LPCB/C&G etc.
- An understanding and ability to carry out preventative maintenance to the current standards.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Able to work openly and co-operatively with others.
- Experience of managing multiple simultaneous activities.
- Trained or fire alarm experience.
General:
- Experience within the construction industry, or/and Fire & Security systems.
- Possess a clear record with zero criminal convictions of any kind and meet with the requirements to pass a CRB / DBS check and the full screening process required in the security industry.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Field Service Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Security Alarm Service Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of London, Hertfordshire, Essex or be willing to relocate.
