A global player in materials handling and food processing equipment manufacture has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inside Sales Support Engineer to join their European Team, based near Dudley, UK.
Responsibilities:
- In your role of Sales Support (Customer Service Representative (CSR)), you will become an integral member of the inside sales team, supporting the sales force and representatives, and also assisting customers in selecting the right choice for the application.
- As part of the UK team you will be responsible for managing the sales support process, including opportunity & design review, system calculation, preparing quotations, and managing the order fulfilment process. All leading to overall customer satisfaction.
- Carry out administrative tasks, all related to the quotation- and order entry process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Sales / Customer Support working for an industrial product / equipment manufacturing company in a Business-to-Business environment.
- Strong interest in mechanical and/or electrical based products and solutions.
- Project management skills/experience present.
- Good understanding of MRP and CRM systems, and Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Spanish and/or Italian language skills are advantageous.
- Conveyor Belt and/or Food Processing industry experience a clear advantage.
- A positive attitude and a team player, but can also work on own initiative and execute.
- Customer oriented and committed.
The role will suit individuals currently working as Inside Sales Support Engineer, Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Engineer, Inside Sales Engineer, Sales Admin or Sales Support Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Dudley, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Birmingham or be willing to relocate.
