Commercial Kitchen Designer
System Recruitment Limited is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Designer for a permanent position based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The role offers a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, with an immediate start date.
The successful candidate will join an established firm specializing in the design and installation of commercial kitchens. Responsibilities include producing CAD designs and estimates, using CAD 2D and 3D Revit software, and creating and amending drawings with AutoCAD.
Key duties include:
- Create take-offs from drawings and present data in Excel.
- Print and review drawing sets with the project team.
- Export files in DWF and other formats for internal and external collaboration.
- Compile data sheets for technical submittals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
- Provide reports to line managers as needed.
Ideal candidates will have a background in 2D/3D design related to commercial kitchens, light construction, or shopfitting.
