An established firm of Consulting Engineers requires an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join the team in Manchester.
As an ideal candidate you will have a minimum of 10 years experience in engineering design and delivery on a wide range of construction projects. You must be able to deal with all aspects of the engineering process from developing concepts to the production of detailed solutions and site monitoring and delivery.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum qualification of a relevant Higher National Diploma/Certificate, Degree or ideally Masters and must be able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar role.
This is a role for a career minded individual, someone looking for a long term career at a company that will afford the possibility of Director level prospects for the right individual. With this in mind, a Chartered Engineer or someone working towards being Chartered will have a distinct advantage.
In addition you should have;
1 relevant experience of working within the Building Services Industry;
2 Experience using REVIT is required;
3 Experience in the use of Amtech / Dialux / Relux / Hevacomp / Autocad and Microsoft Office suite software would be necessary;
4 Ability to develop good working relations both internally and with external partners and clients;
The role will suit individuals currently working as an Electrical Building Services Engineer, BIM Engineer, Chartered Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Manchester, Stockport, Oldham, Bolton, Wigan or be willing to relocate.
