Long established Construction firm require an experienced Bookkeeper.
Your role will include;
* Bookkeeping, using Sage Accounts software, entering & checking invoices, posting to nominal accounts.
* Entering sales invoices & receipts.
* Balancing nominal accounts & verifying Trial Balances, producing draft Profit & Loss accounts
* VAT returns
* Wages using Moneysoft software. Posting to accounts and balancing Tax/NI processing HMRC Payments.
* Using spreadsheets to record payments. Fixed assets register
* Recording of daily workers & start/finish times
* Keep vehicle records inc. MOT dates and insurance cover Etc.
* Materials stock take & valuation at year end.
* The accounts will be for 3 x Businesses of the group.
* Creating order numbers for materials & plant
* Booking Accommodation
The role will suit individuals currently working as Bookkeeper, Accountant, Finance Assistant and be living within a commutable distance of Pontefract, Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, Garforth, Selby, Doncaster or be willing to relocate.
