An established global player in the Loading Bay Solutions sector is looking for an experienced Loading Bay Lift Engineer to be home based in the Midlands.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end technical support, service and breakdown response
- Onsite technical support
- Servicing of lifts and other products
- End user training (operator level)
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in field engineering positions including installing and servicing bespoke lifts, integrated systems and standard equipment
- Knowledge and experience of installing and operating lifts in specialist material environments e.g. food/pharmaceuticals etc
- IT Knowledge – Microsoft Office and an understanding of drawings and specifications
- Self-motivating personality that can independently manage service territory, customer contact and company information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and passion for excellent customer service
- Regional coverage with some UK travel sometimes necessary
You will be at least NVQ2 qualified with 5 years experience in Lift and Dock Levellers, Door and Dock Shelters, Goods Lifts, Table Lifts, Scissor Lifts. We are looking for a Loading Bay Lift Engineer with extensive knowledge not only of PPM but also fault finding, reactive repairs and installations. You will be aware of and understand the relevant industry regs – PUWER and EN1570.
Monday to Friday role with plenty of Overtime available. On call 1 weekend in 4.
