An established Health and Safety consulting group are looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor.
Position Objective
* To undertake asbestos inspections, surveys and sampling or other associated activity of the company in accordance with associated legislation and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
* British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) P402 – ‘Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos’ as a minimum
* At least 5 years’ experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
* Excellent communication skills
* Be fluent in both verbal and written English
Key Responsibilities
* Undertaking Asbestos Management & Refurbishment surveys and re-inspections
* Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents f or clients/customers
* Providing recommendations for remedial works
Attributes
* The successful candidate will be flexible, and have an excellent work ethic
* Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
* Must be prepared to travel
