This is a full-time hybrid role for a Logistics Coordinator based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some remote work. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing and improving logistics operations. Day-to-day tasks include ensuring efficient supply chain operations, managing inventory, tracking shipments, and coordinating with customers and vendors.
Responsibilities- Manage and improve logistics operations to ensure efficient supply chain performance
- Track shipments, manage inventory and coordinate with customers and vendors
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve logistics and supply chain processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and techniques
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain management, including an understanding of shipment tracking and handling practices
- Customer service orientation with a commitment to addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure operational efficiency
- Understanding of Incoterms, customs documentation, and global trade flows
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
- Proficiency in relevant software or tools used in inventory and logistics management
- Coordination of reverse logistics (returns, RMAs, repairs, warranty flows)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
