Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Salary: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday (4-day working week), 39 hours per week

Overtime: Optional on Fridays at an enhanced rate

The Role

As a Fitter, you'll work on a range of custom vehicle conversions, assembling and installing bespoke products designed to meet exact customer specifications. Your duties include:

  • Assembling products and bespoke fittings
  • Confidently use and maintain hand tools
  • Quality checking materials and finished items
  • Manual handling and lifting
  • Following verbal and written instructions
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and health and safety standards
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • Meeting tight deadlines with precision and care

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in manufacturing, installation or similar hands-on work (training given)
  • Competent with hand tools
  • Hard-working, reliable and punctual
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work on their own
  • Able to follow instructions and work to SWPs
  • Eager to learn new skills
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about workplace health and safety
