We are looking for a Clinical System Support, known internally as Support Analyst, to join our Maternity/Neonatal team. If you have a clinical background in maternity or neonatal services and are looking for a new way to use your experience and knowledge, we would love to hear from you. This is a brilliant opportunity to move into a customer-focused role while continuing to make a meaningful impact. We can provide all the training and support required to help you harness your existing skillset whilst also learning a brand new one.
What you will be doing:
- Manage customer issues through service management tools, phone and email.
- Investigate incidents and problems, driving timely and effective resolution.
- Work closely with service desk, technical and product teams to coordinate support.
- Keep customers informed with clear, professional and empathetic communication.
- Identify opportunities for first-time fixes, knowledge sharing and service improvement.
- Create knowledge base content and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Support ongoing product and service enhancements in line with evolving clinical practice.
- Take part in an on-call rota and travel to meetings where required.
We would love to hear from you if you bring:
- A clinical background in maternity and/or neonatal care.
- Experience of working with reporting functions and healthcare systems in a live clinical environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clinicians, IT teams and administrators.
- A calm, organised approach to solving problems in a fast-changing environment.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate as part of one team.
- Good documentation skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
It would be a bonus if you also have:
- Experience in service desk or incident management environments.
- Familiarity with SLA-driven support.
- Awareness of remote connection tools or ITIL best practice.
Please be aware that to be considered for this post, you must have a clinical background in maternity or neonatal services. If you are a Midwife, Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, or Maternity Support Worker, this is an excellent opportunity to leverage your clinical experience and will be required to form part of our on-call rota.
