The Role We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Liquidlogic software implementation projects across local government, social care, and education organisations.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you'll take ownership of projects from initiation through to go-live.
Working closely with local authority stakeholders, delivery teams, technical specialists, and senior leaders, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role will require occasional travel to customer sites across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing Act as a senior escalation point for customer challenges.
Provide leadership, coaching and line management support to Project Managers and delivery teams.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Liquidlogic implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
Build strong and trusted relationships with customer stakeholders Act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers through both technology implementation and organisational change.
Ensure projects are appropriately planned, governed, resourced, and delivered in line with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and contribute to project mobilisation activities.
Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, revenue delivery, and overall project health.
Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and escalations to successful resolution.
Support resource planning and capacity management across multiple concurrent projects.

Experience working within Local Government, Social Care, Education, Public Sector, or related technology environments.
Proven experience delivering large-scale software implementation, transformation, or change projects.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and operational teams.
Demonstrable experience managing project budgets, forecasts, commercial performance, and resource planning.
Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, reporting, and delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
A flexible and collaborative approach, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
Desirable Experience delivering local authority case management platforms.
Knowledge of Children's Services, Adult Social Care, or Education services.
Formal project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile PM, or equivalent.
