This is a remote position.

We have exciting opportunities available for dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyors who want experience on major projects, working for a leading consultancy.

These roles require a degree of flexibility and mobility but provide a clearly defined route to a senior position within a leading construction consultancy. This suits someone who is passionate about delivering an exceptional service and who has ambitions of being regarded as an expert in their field.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working for tier one main contractors on civils / infrastructure projects. This is a consultancy role, and you must therefore also be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a client facing environment.


Responsibilities:

Providing commercial support on major construction projects

Developing relationships and building trust with existing clients

Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with the contract

Responsibility for management account preparation and liaison with senior management

Knowledge of main standard forms of contract including NEC and JCT

To develop an understanding of claims preparation and dispute avoidance


Requirements

BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying

A Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (preferred)

Experience working within infrastructure / civils

NEC contract knowledge

Presentable and articulate

Collaborative and able to work towards a common goal
