Systech is recognised as an industry leader in delay analysis due to its incredible team and innovative technology, and this is an exciting time to be joining us in the UK. As a Delay Analyst, you will be responsible for providing clients with accurate claims advice, based on detailed and thorough forensic examination and analysis of project information and data. You must be proficient in the use of various industry recognised delay analysis techniques, and highly skilled in the preparation and presentation of complex delay claims. This is a consultancy role, and you must therefore be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a client facing environment. You will need to work hard and achieve strong performance levels. In return you will have a clearly defined route to a director role within a leading construction consultancy.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting on the preparation or defence of extension of time claims
- Carrying out delay analysis with minimal supervision
- Preparing programme narratives
- Giving reasoned advice on dispute resolution procedures based on project circumstances
- To work collaboratively with the management team across Systech's international offices
- To advise of dispute avoidance and resolution strategy
- To be positive and proactive, overcoming obstacles and finding a way to win
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in a construction related field
- A sound understanding of current construction methodologies
- Full understanding of the various delay analysis methods
- Good knowledge of contract conditions and law within the construction industry
- Good working knowledge of a variety of planning software (e.g. P6, Powerproject)
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Presentable and articulate
- Excellent organiser with proven time management skills
- Analytical and methodical
