We have several exciting opportunities available for Planning Consultants who are in a position to travel across the UK and have the flexibility to be away from home Monday to Friday. As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for preparing programmes at all stages of a project – from bid, to on-site progress to retrospective forensic for use in disputes. You will advise on how to prepare contract compliant programmes, report progress on as-built programmes, manage critical path and float activities and the records to keep in case a claim situation arises. This is a consultancy role and you must therefore be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a client facing environment.
Responsibilities

- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Maintenance of project records.

- Knowledge of all project planning techniques.
Individual
- Ideally hold a degree in a construction related field.
- A sound understanding of current construction methodologies.
- Knowledge of current project planning techniques.
- Good knowledge of contract conditions and law within the construction industry.
- Good working knowledge of a variety of planning software (e.g. P6, Powerproject).
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Presentable and articulate.
- Excellent organiser with proven time management skills.
