The Product Lead: WMS is responsible for owning the vision, strategy, and execution of SYSPRO’s Warehouse Management System as a core component of the Supply Chain product portfolio. The role acts as the global subject‑matter expert for WMS, translating deep industry knowledge and customer insight into a competitive, market‑leading product roadmap. It leads the full product lifecycle from strategy and discovery through development, launch, and adoption, ensuring the solution delivers measurable value to customers. Ultimately, the role ensures SYSPRO’s WMS offering is differentiated, commercially effective, and aligned to evolving supply‑chain and warehouse‑operations needs.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Minimum Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations, with significant hands‑on exposure to Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in product management or product leadership, ideally within ERP, WMS, or enterprise software environments.
  • Experience working closely with software development teams to deliver complex, enterprise‑grade solutions.

  • Own and lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for the SYSPRO Warehouse Management System, from concept and strategy through development, release, adoption, and ongoing evolution.
  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for WMS, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and SYSPRO’s overall product strategy.
  • Act as the global subject‑matter expert for WMS and Supply Chain capabilities, serving as the primary authority on functionality, use cases, and industry best practices.
  • Analyse the current WMS and broader Supply Chain offering to identify gaps, opportunities, and priorities required to maintain and improve market competitiveness.
  • Lead prioritisation of features and enhancements by balancing customer value, commercial opportunity, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.
  • Translate industry insight and customer requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Provide product leadership to cross‑functional teams, including Development, QA, Product Operations, and Architecture to ensure roadmap objectives are delivered effectively.
  • Ensure strong alignment between product strategy and solution execution by guiding development teams through the Conceive, Develop, and Release phases.
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” throughout the product development and rollout process by incorporating direct customer feedback, industry panels, and market research.
  • Support Product Operations and Go‑To‑Market activities by ensuring releases are well planned, clearly positioned, and ready for market adoption.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for the WMS offering.
  • Enable Sales and partners by providing product knowledge, sales enablement content, playbooks, and thought leadership materials that demonstrate SYSPRO’s WMS expertise.
  • Support complex sales cycles by participating in customer engagements, workshops, and solution discussions where deep WMS expertise is required.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including playbooks, training materials, webinars, and internal enablement assets.
  • Represent SYSPRO as a WMS thought leader by presenting at conferences, customer events, and industry forums, and by contributing written thought leadership.
  • Establish and maintain customer advisory panels and industry forums to continuously strengthen customer insight and product relevance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process, capability, and solution enhancements that improve customer outcomes and adoption.
  • Ensure strong collaboration across Product Management, Product Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver a cohesive product experience.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and customer outcomes, using data and feedback to inform roadmap decisions and future investment.
