The project manager will be responsible for delivering IT and ERP projects across the UK and Ireland. They will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards — while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT and ERP projects across the UK and Ireland for a global organisation.
- Deliver projects using SYSPRO UK’s IDEAL methodology and PRINCE2 principles.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring strong relationships and clear communication.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans; manage consultancy schedules via SYSPRO’s diary system.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and stored accurately on SharePoint.
- Apply formal change control for scope variations and escalate issues as needed.
- Confirm commercial coverage, manage budgets, and ensure accurate billing and accruals.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and communicate risks, issues, and progress.
- Produce monthly status reports covering budget, risks, milestones, and present updates in review meetings.
- Record billed time, forecast future work, and ensure diary bookings meet commercial and procedural standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
Essential Qualifications:
- Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 Year experience as implementations project/programme manager, preferably in an ERP environment throughout full project lifecycle.
- Managing politically sensitive projects.
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects with varying objectives and milestones.
- Experience of managing commercially and politically sensitive projects in a high governance or regulated industry background.
- Experience in the provision of financial and resource forecasting and reporting.
- Experience of providing summary management level reporting for a portfolio of projects.
- Experience of providing resource and financial planning reporting to a senior team.
