Manages domestic and international tax matters across the Syspro Group, including international tax strategy, transfer pricing, compliance, and audit management, to ensure tax efficiency and regulatory compliance across all global entities.

Job requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Beneficial Qualifications: CTA, ACA, ACCA, ADIT, or CIMA qualification.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years of broad tax experience in a consulting environment (e.g., Big 4) and/or in-house at a multinational enterprise, with demonstrated experience in transfer pricing across model design, implementation, operations, and audit defence.
  • Beneficial Experience: Experience in digital, online, or software businesses; exposure to equity remuneration, payroll, and social security matters; indirect tax experience on a global basis (VAT, GST, Sales and Use Tax).
  • Special Skills and Knowledge: International tax and transfer pricing expertise; working knowledge of OECD guidelines and Master File/Local File requirements; global indirect tax compliance; strong analytical and project management skills; proficiency in ERP systems; ability to apply AI to automate and optimise tax processes; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Supports the development and maintenance of a tax-efficient and compliant legal structure across the Group’s entities, including tax planning, M&A due diligence and structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders (Legal, HR, and FP&A) on cross-border tax matters including permanent establishment risk, withholding taxes, and employee mobility considerations.
  • Manages tax audits and responds to enquiries from tax authorities, maintaining audit-ready documentation and supporting workpapers throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Monitors global tax developments, proactively assesses potential impacts, and recommends appropriate actions to senior leadership.
  • Supports the design, implementation, and operationalisation of the Global Transfer Pricing Model for the Syspro Group, and continues to develop the model in line with business growth.
  • Prepares and maintains fully compliant transfer pricing documentation in accordance with the OECD Master File/Local File approach.
  • Oversees and collaborates with Finance to ensure timely and compliant global tax filings, including corporate income tax returns, VAT, GST, Sales and Use Tax, state income and franchise taxes, and related obligations.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements and automation within the tax function, including the application of AI tools to optimise recurring tasks and reduce time on complex analysis.
  • Manages relationships with external tax advisors, coordinating advisory engagements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintains accurate tax records and documentation to an audit-ready standard at all times.
