As a Haemostasis Application Specialist, you will act as the technical and clinical expert for our haemostasis product portfolio. You will support customers throughout the full product lifecycle from installation and training to troubleshooting and ongoing optimisation, ensuring they gain maximum value from our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Introduction of new assay protocols, training, support and installation at customers' sites across the UK and Ireland
- Troubleshooting queries as a follow on to telephone support
- Joint visits with Haemostasis Technical Manager or Field Service Engineers to support technical investigations that require application specialist knowledge
- Installation of new equipment, including verification of all routine and specialist assays, and the provision of a report in line with laboratory standards
- Engage in telephone support
- Accurate and timely electronic call recording and logging
- Create and update as required documentation relating to training, installations, SOPs and regulatory issues
- Administer and deliver customer training courses in Sysmex UK laboratory
Your profile:
- BSC (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science or similar
- Greater than 3 years experience in a laboratory environment or agenda for change band >=6
- A good depth of Haemostasis experience
- Technical and logical problem solving capabilities
- Reading and understanding of scientific and technical documentation
- Good communicator/Negotiator
- Full driving licence
