About the Role

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support the delivery of the HR function by providing day-to-day operational HR support. This role ensures consistent, people focused HR practices that align with organisational goals and supports account and project managers in creating a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with employees across the business, acting as a trusted advisor on people-related matters.
  • Providing guidance on HR policies or practices, as well as conducting our annual policy reviews.
  • Support account managers and project leads in developing their people-management capabilities.
  • Manage all first-stage employee relation matters.
  • Oversee benefits administration such as renewals, provider relationships & employee queries.
  • Support the delivery of the annual HR cycle (including performance reviews, salary reviews, promotions etc).
  • Implement central HR measures and processes, ensuring they reflect legal and organisational requirements.
  • Support the development and rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and systems.
  • Managing the 'People page' on our intranet, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible to all employees.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR practices and employee experience at Sysdoc.
  • Support the delivery and be the project manager of some HR and cross functional projects, ensuring clear planning and procedure, timely completion and accurate documentation.
  • Work closely with the wider HR & Business Services Team to ensure alignment and consistency across all people processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and operational processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Support and oversee key elements of the recruitment process, including candidate engagement, interview processes, coordination with hiring managers, and contributing to a positive and efficient end‑to‑end recruitment experience.

Must have

  • 4+ years experience in the HR field.
  • Previous SME/start up or high-growth company experience.
  • Technical proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
  • Excellent knowledge of HR policy and the latest employment laws.
  • Stakeholder management and advisory capabilities, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and the wider Sysdoc team.
  • Ability to innovate and think strategically.
  • Strong levels of commercial acumen.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Currently have or are working towards a CIPD qualification.

Advantageous

  • Experience in consulting industries.
  • Familiarity with common HRIS platforms and reporting tools (we currently use Plumm and TeamTailor).
