Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will lead a team, developing performance testing frameworks and utilities to ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems.

Collaborate with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks in software applications and infrastructure.

Build system testing strategies, tools and infrastructure to test the reliability and resilience of Sysdig platform.

Implement custom tooling for automated performance evaluations in CI/CD lifecycle to provide real‑time feedback on system performance.

Conduct system performance analysis and provide optimization recommendations to enhance the efficiency of cloud and container environments.

Participate in the architectural design reviews to ensure performance considerations are included in the development of new features.

What You Will Bring With You

  • Experience in a Manager or Technical Lead role
  • 5+ years of experience with performance automation tools such as Locust, Jmeter, K6.
  • Programming skills in Python, Golang or Java with a focus on developing performance tooling.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) and experience working with these platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in using profiling tools to identify performance issues.
  • Knowledge in Observability and Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, …)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones
  • Strong project tracking capabilities with the ability to drive initiatives forward, maintain strategic direction, and manage a team.
