Warehouse Team Manager - Afternoon shift

Salary £37,685 plus great benefits

Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday 13:00 start

If you are as ambitious as we are and youre looking to progress a career in warehouse operations, join us as a Warehouse Team Leader at our Regional Distribution centre at Warrington.

Youll be responsible for ensuring your team of warehouse operatives are working safely and efficiently, and that key targets are being achieved. You will lead by example and drive high performance through great communication, teamwork and building strong working relationships. You will work closely with the shift manager to plan workload and resource effectively, as well as developing the skills of your team members to support their career aspirations and increase shift capability. Theres paperwork and administration to complete as part of this role, so youll need an eye for detail, and be able to work accurately and in a timely manner.

You will enjoy working in a busy role which requires you to think on your feet and pro-actively problem solve - dealing with operational challenges as they arise, escalating to more senior managers if necessary. You will want to make a difference and proactively look for ways to make improvements and challenge current ways of working.

To join us as a Warehouse Team Leader you will have previous experience of leading a team in a fast paced, time pressured environment. Experience within a warehouse operation would be advantageous but is not essential. Whats key is your ability and desire to learn - understanding the business and operation quickly.
