Warehouse Order Selector at Sysco

Job Summary

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.

• Active, physical role involving operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift
• Organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders
• Performing other duties as assigned

Work Environment

Safe working environment with temperature and humidity variations based on weather conditions and product type (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, frozen).

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 0-1 year relevant work experience
• Frequently lift 10-75 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Reach up to 72 inches frequently
• Bend and twist constantly while operating equipment
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer)
• Stand for 10-12 hours daily

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts
• 1 year experience in warehouse, military, or physically active jobs
• 1 year selection experience
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred
