Overview
Trainee HGV Class 2 Driver. Monday – Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis. £31,499 annual salary, plus a great range of benefits. Quick apply process – no CV required!
Start your new professional driving career with world-class, award-winning training and high operational standards. You\’ll join us initially as a Van Driver – delivering both food and non-food products to multiple locations throughout the day. Your route might not be the same from one day to the next, but we guarantee you’ll meet a variety of customers along the way. You will also be responsible for regular checks on your multi-temperature van and DVSA compliance. Your journey with us will start with a full induction and before you know it, you will have moved onto our award-winning HGV Development Programme which will see you gain your Class 2 Driver qualification within 6 months, then the sky\’s the limit.
You will be working a 45 hour week; we can discuss the shift days and times with you at interview. Upon gaining your HGV2 licence your salary will increase to £42,120.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of food and non-food products to multiple locations.
- Carry out regular checks on a multi-temperature van and ensure DVSA compliance.
- Participate in induction and the HGV Development Programme to achieve Class 2 Driver qualification within 6 months.
- Adhere to route schedules and maintain professional customer interactions.

- Full clean Driving Licence.
- Previous multidrop or van driving experience.
- Ambition and commitment to become a qualified HGV 2 driver through the driver development programme.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
