Join us as a Van Driver at our Brakes Depot in Bodelwyddan and enjoy a professional driving career with world-class, award-winning training and high operational standards. You will start with a thorough induction, then you'll be providing our customers a friendly, totally dedicated delivery service of food orders, taking care to resolve any issues along the way. It's a vital role, and it can be hard work, but a Brakes Van Driver makes it look easy!
You will need to pay attention to accurately picking up on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature controlled vehicle. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers' premises, so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene, and other related legislation.
You will require a full driver's licence and extensive road knowledge of our local area. As our 3.5t Van Driver, you'll use your strong communication and teamwork skills, knowledge, and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions. If you have the ambition to become an HGV2 driver in the future, we'd be happy to support you through our driver development programme.
