Typical working pattern of 4 to 6 days per week on a rotating schedule.
Starts between 05:00 and 12pm depending on the assigned route- 45 hours a week
A mixture of trunking routes and bulk delivery work

About the role
Youll be delivering products in bulk to a number of our depots where you may need to assist with loading and unloading your vehicle at sites. You will be required to do some bulk work as part of the rota. This is customer facing delivering directly into our customer premises. Your Brakes journey will start with an induction including time on the road with another driver whilst you are understanding the role. Our ongoing coaching means you can develop at your own pace. Where could you go with Brakes? With pathways in everything from fleet management to planning and leadership roles, its up to you.
About you
You will be a qualified HGV Driver with solid previous experience of driving class 1 vehicles in a similar role. While you will be out on the road on your own, youll still need to have strong teamwork skills to liaise with the wider distribution team.
