Warehouse Team Lead (Evening/Night Shift) in Belfast

This is a supervisory position responsible for the operational and personnel activities of an assigned area of the warehouse; supervising a section of the warehouse, providing leadership and direction to achieve organisational goals. The successful candidate will have experience of leading and building teams to drive best‑in‑class performance, accuracy and engagement, and will support our vision of being our customers’ most valued and trusted business partner.

Key Accountabilities

• Direct supervision of order selectors, loaders, forklifts, and other warehouse employees.
• Perform functional supervision including scheduling and making recommendations.
• Monitor and control production, overtime, absences, tardiness, truck shorts, etc., within established limits.
• Counsel, advise, and instruct employees in related policies, procedures, safety training and productivity.
• Conduct regular coaching and counselling to help employees meet or exceed jointly established performance goals.
• Supervise correct product selection, trailer loading and handling of outgoing goods for on‑time truck departures.
• Train employees and demonstrate job duties.
• Conduct staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse in compliance with HACCP and Pallas Foods standards.
• Provide appropriate training, retraining and corrective action to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing reports, maintaining operations records and filing reports.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Management or similar supervisory role.
• Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Experience in an FMCG environment.
• Fully flexible with start and finish times to meet business needs.
• Experience in change management and continuous improvement.
• Excellent time‑keeping and attendance.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience in building and developing teams.
• High level of motivational and interpersonal skills, maintaining strong close working relationships.
