Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales growth by exceeding targets within the existing customer base.
- Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends.
- Retain customers through personalised, proactive communication.
- Strengthen relationships to increase our share of customers' business and identify new opportunities.
- Keep product and service knowledge current.
- Use data to re-engage lapsed customers and prevent lost sales.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Manage customer risks, including lost sales and credit issues.
- Create account plans to maximise customer engagement and grow sales.
- Study sales data and market insights to make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in a structured sales or telesales environment.
- Knowledge of the foodservice sector.
- Track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong active listening, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong planning, organisation, and teamwork skills.
