Sysco International are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team on a Full Time, Permanent basis. As a Business Intelligence Analyst you are accountable for the day-to-day management of new requests. You will be responsible for meeting the BI analysis needs of the various markets, responding to work requests as prioritized by the EU Data & Analytics steerco / PMO project prioritization. By using the Agile methodology, you’ll work closely with Scrum Master in order to ensure that approved BI projects are completed on time and meet the necessary data and technology security standards. You can expect to support the market as reporting contact, providing expertise and guidance for Data, Technology or business initiatives as approved. This role can be based in any EU market and is being offered on a hybrid working contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence / Report Development: Development & Implementation / align to data & technology objectives & priorities / ensure efficiency & compliance to data, cyber & technology standards
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders & data leaders / participate in cross functional projects & initiatives requiring analytics expertise
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define & track KPIs to measure impact of analytics initiatives on business performance / continuously monitor & optimize analytic processes
- Reporting & Dashboard Simplification: monitor usage & adoption to ensure that data sources & reports are assessed for current validity, actively tracking and removing redundant data sources / reports as required
- Governance – Data, Dashboards, Reporting, Analytics, Ethical Use of Data: Accountable to guide colleagues with the data principles and cyber standards for uses of data delivered through any of the consumption technologies
About You
We are looking for a motivated and responsible professional with strong project management experience and a solid understanding of agile methodologies. You’ll have a proven ability to work on a multicultural environment effectively, with hands‑on experience in application development. You’re confident working with data, able to analyse, visualise, manipulate, and model information to drive insights and solutions. A methodical problem solver, you approach troubleshooting and testing with precision, supporting both functional and non‑functional testing as well as defect triage and resolution. You bring flexibility, initiative, and a strong customer focus to everything you do. Knowledge of ITIL frameworks would be an advantage, along with a solution‑oriented mindset and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.
