We are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Sysco Europe Technology team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Technology Product Manager, you will support the management and ongoing development of Sysco Europe’s SAP Hybris eCommerce platform across the France and Great Britain markets. This is a key role acting as the link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring the successful translation of business requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions. Working across multiple European initiatives within a matrix organisation, you will provide end‑to‑end business analysis support across the lifecycle of change, from discovery through to delivery and transition into BAU. This is a hybrid role and will require weekly travel (3 times per week) to our Ashford Head Office and as such a good degree of self‑motivation and flexibility is required and ideally you will live locally to one of these offices.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, document and validate business needs, translating them into clear and concise functional and non‑functional requirements
- Produce high‑quality documentation including acceptance criteria, test scenarios, test scripts and user outcomes
- Act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring shared understanding and effective communication
- Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and operational needs
- Review and interpret high‑level conceptual, contextual and solution designs
- Support the planning and delivery of change initiatives, where required
- Provide continuity throughout the change lifecycle, ensuring requirements are successfully delivered and transitioned into support teams
- Engage extensively with business stakeholders, spending significant time embedded within the Ecommerce function
- Work across the full eCommerce technology ecosystem, including peripheral systems such as ERP, search, analytics, personalisation platforms and other integrated tools
- Collaborate horizontally with Business Analysts across other functional areas to prioritise work and deliver end‑to‑end solutions
- Proactively maintain knowledge of business change initiatives, industry trends and best practice
About you:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst capable of fostering strong relationships through proactive engagement. The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to challenge constructively. They should demonstrate strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and adopt a structured approach to documenting and presenting information tailored to diverse audiences. An inquisitive mindset is essential, with the ability to think strategically and tactically, offering clear solution options. Experience in early risk and issue identification, along with proposing practical mitigation strategies, is required. Proven expertise in gathering requirements via workshops and direct engagement with business users is necessary. The candidate should have strong prioritisation skills, including familiarity with methods like MoSCoW. Knowledge of SAP Hybris or SAP Commerce Cloud is desirable, and proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
