As the ERP Test Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in driving quality across a complex digital transformation programme centred around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and its integrated business applications. You'll take ownership of test planning, coordination and delivery, creating detailed test plans, managing schedules and leading testing activities through System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Working hands-on with Azure DevOps (ADO), you'll design, review and execute test scenarios across functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing, ensuring robust coverage and full traceability to business requirements. You'll conduct end-to-end testing across D365 F&O, integration platforms and connected third-party systems, validating data flows, business processes and security roles (RBAC), while leading defect management activities to drive rapid issue resolution and minimise delivery risk.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate testing professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with team leadership. You'll lead and develop a team of Test Analysts, fostering a quality-first culture and ensuring adherence to testing standards, governance and best practices. You'll also oversee automated regression testing using Leapwork, analysing failures, supporting the expansion of automation coverage and helping to shape the future testing approach.
Working closely with business SMEs, functional consultants, developers, integration partners and programme stakeholders, you'll provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks and quality metrics, translating technical issues into meaningful business impacts. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving complex challenges across enterprise systems, and want to make a visible impact on the success of a major transformation programme, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for an experienced Test Lead, with the relevant ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering testing activities within large-scale ERP implementations, ideally with hands-on experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). You'll have a strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle, including Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), alongside previous experience leading test teams and coordinating testing across complex programmes.
You'll be confident working with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, defect tracking and reporting, and have experience testing integrations between ERP platforms and third-party systems, with a solid understanding of APIs, middleware, EDI and data synchronisation. We're looking for someone who can interpret business and technical documentation, manage testing activities across both agile and waterfall environments, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
This is a hands-on role, so you must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and personally creating, executing and validating test cases when required, while mentoring and supporting the team. You'll bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
Experience with test automation tools such as Leapwork, Selenium or Tricentis is highly desirable, as is exposure to performance testing tools including JMeter, LoadRunner or StresStimulus. You'll also thrive in a collaborative, matrix environment, working effectively across multiple teams, locations and time zones to drive quality and successful delivery.
This role is offering a hybrid contract from either Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead so you must be within a commutable distance to either site.
