Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 40 hours per week.
Production Coordinator within our highly motivated Operational Team within our Carver Co. Depot located in Wigan. You will be supporting the team to prepare high quality meat products for our customers. If you are as ambitious as we are and you're looking to progress your career in Production Operations.
You will be reporting to the Butchery Operations Manager as a critical member of the operational team who coordinates and supports all departments across Warehouse, Butchery, Packing, Hygiene. You will be supporting on a day-to-day basis and stepping up to provide cover during periods of absence (e.g. offsite meetings or annual leave).
As Production Coordinator, you will have a variety of responsibilities from assisting daily production operations by planning of stock ordering materials working closely with suppliers to provide crucial SAP administrative support for our operational efficiency. Our Production Coordinators act as lead on period end (monthly) stock takes. We will look to you to act as an ambassador for ensuring the warehouse is running safely and efficiently, always maintaining our excellent standards of health and safety, food safety and HCAPP compliance.
To join us as a Production Coordinator, you can expect to be working in multi-temp conditions but you will also need to have confidence to support with office-based duties. It would be a huge advantage if you already have SAP or Prophet ERP system knowledge along with familiarisation with production and technical processes (not essential). Successful applicants must be a driver as this role has a requirement to undertake van driving duties consisting of 2 daily runs between Wigan and Warrington depots which we supply produce to internally.
You will be a tenacious, resilient and proactive problem solver with the drive and determination to overcome challenges and succeed with a supportive team-player mentality. Working hours will be discussed at interview as we require someone who can offer flexibility to support production timescales.
