A satisfying role: Put simply, your focus will be to deliver excellence for our customers, our business and everyone around you. Handling the day-to-day management of the Thetford depot - predominantly focused on distribution with a small warehouse operation, you will be leading a team of around 55 colleagues ensuring that our safety, service, cost and efficiency goals are exceeded. Accountable for everything from team engagement and operational performance to efficiency and budgets, you’ll shape plans that drive change and develop your team & the operation. You’ll actively create a safe and efficient working environment where colleagues feel included and can do their jobs brilliantly. Crucially, you’ll also drive the performance of your leaders and effectively manage change as our business continues to transform.

What you bring to the mix: Having successfully led in a fast-paced transport function before, you’ve got everything needed to thrive in this role:

  • Experience in planning resources and managing costs, service and safety through others
  • The ability to coach and mentor teams through change, drive performance and achieve shared goals
  • A results-focused and collaborative approach
  • A track record of creating plans that improve the experience of customers and colleagues
  • Strong relationship-building and financial skills
  • Hold a CPC with O licence, or prepared to gain
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualified, or prepared to gain
