Ecommerce Trading Specialist
Salary up to 35k (dependent on experience)

Were looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Ecommerce Trading Specialist to join our growing ecommerce team. This is a varied role, offering a great opportunity to be involved across both the trading and operational sides of ecommercehelping to improve the customer journey while supporting day-to-day platform performance and project delivery.
Working closely with teams across merchandising, marketing, and product, youll help ensure our website is optimised for both commercial performance and a seamless customer experience. Youll also support ecommerce operations and play a key role in the delivery of digital projects that enhance our platforms.
What youll be doing:
- Report and measure efficiency of Search and Browse identifying opportunities to further maximize online sales and profitability
- Implement recommendations & continuous improvements to the site
- Measure theeffectivenessof Perfect With& See Similar recommendations
- Be the principal expert in the operation and functionality of the web ordering platform, able to answer queries and issues from across all parts of Brakes and customers, particularly in relation to customer setup and onboarding, but also more generally across all the features and functions of the site
- Actively contributes to improving team processes and ways of working
- Presents work to stakeholders, effectively communicating rationale and promoting best practice
- Conduct regular website audits and backend analysis, reviewing customer journey touchpoints and implementing enhancements to improve performance and conversion
- Offers QA support where needed, adhering to guidelines provided by the QA team
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience in ecommerce and trading of web platforms or related spaces
- Experience using an ecommerce CMS is essential, knowledge of SAP Hybris would be an advantage
- Strong analytical approach to identify and understand trends based on data and insight with a detailed understanding of ecommerce eco-systems and levers to drive performance
- Team-orientated with ability to effectively communicate priorities and collaborate with partners across the organization at all levels
- An organised, proactive and determined problem solver with a keen eye for detail
