Company Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner - Pricing to join the Regional Broadline finance team on a full time, permanent basis, reporting into the Finance Director. As the Senior Finance Business Partner it's your responsibility to manage the price and internal cost levels of all Regional Broadline products in Kff and Medina Foodservice through formal price moves and tactical price fixes in order to cover overhead inflation while improving company margin.
To liaise with Procurement, Category, Finance and Sales divisions in reaching appropriate product price decisions based on analysis presented in monthly pricing meetings. This role would also be required to liaise closely with the Pricing team in Brakes too. We are offering a hybrid working contract, and you will be required to work in the Kff Aylesford office once per week, so you must live within a commutable distance. Occasional travel to Medina Isle of Wight also required.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Analysis, creation and delivery of targeted price moves of repped and contracted customers which are material to Kff & Medina.
- Work closely with Regional broadline procurement team to determine inflation & impact on COGS as well as factoring in data and insight from the Brakes team.
- Analysis & proposal of market relevant / go-to market pricing for all Kff & Medina KVI lines and Shop window lines.
- Collect pricing insight from Brakes pricing team, align with regional broadline range and use to effectively price products.
- Creation and monthly tracking of an internal pricing model which provides key insights into overall pricing strategy and its contribution to the business' financial objectives.
- Monitor and sign off any below target margin customer discounts for Medina customers using the RASP tool.
- Monitor the effectiveness of metallic price banding for Kff customers, highlight, challenge and work with sales teams to improve where margin expectations are below target.
- Track the success of Regional broadline price moves, running reports, analysing the data in Excel and creating slides to present this data via PowerPoint.
- Manage and maintain the various levels of price and the price structure of over 7.5k products between the two regional broadline businesses.
- Support sales and finance colleagues with strategic insight and justifications on price moves using insight from procurement colleagues and 3rd party sources.
- Create high level presentations for the Regional broadline SLT at monthly Commercial meetings.
- Work alongside numerous departments such as Finance, Sales, Procurement, Marketing and Promotions to provide analysis of performance, price elasticity and competitor price moves.
- Building relationships with other internal stakeholders - particularly the Brakes pricing team.
- Create multiple monthly pricing models & tools which go out to Sales, Finance, Merchandising and Marketing.
About you
You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) currently operating as a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager, looking to join a global organisation as part of your career development. We are looking for someone who will drive performance through insight and has the knowledge and confidence to understand trends and results. Strong Excel skills, including experience in financial analysis and modelling are essential as well as strong communication and partnering skills across all levels up to Exec level.
