Area Sales Manager
Homebased / Reading
Up to £40,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance & home-based contract
Kff is a regional food wholesaler with around 250 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Sysco, the world\’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. Kff has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying local pub and restaurant customers as well as delivering directly to the caterer.
Here at Kff, we have ambitious growth plans and are looking for Area Sales Managers responsible for winning and maximising independent foodservice business in your area. If you enjoy working in the field and want to grow your career within a leading foodservice company, Kff is the place for you.
What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for your own territory\’s success by:
- Gaining, growing, and retaining customers to deliver profitable volume growth against targets
- Researching your target audience and opportunities within your territory
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding customer needs
- Onboarding new customers effectively while maintaining relationships with existing accounts
- Partnering with customers to understand their growth plans, adding value, and offering practical solutions and products
- Monitoring competitor activity to ensure you offer the best local solutions
What we are looking for:
We seek someone capable of winning new business and maximizing sales with existing customers. Ideally, you will be commercially savvy, proficient in Excel, and skilled in relationship building. A desire for sales is essential. Food industry experience is a plus but not required.
