Summary: This job description is intended to give you an overview of the job of Warehouse Systems Analyst in Sysco. The purpose of this document is to outline the nature of the work at this time.
Key Accountabilities:
- Must understand and recommend system enhancements to improve productivity.
- Validate data produced and perform statistical analysis for the Operations Department Management.
- Meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through engineered production standards.
- Requires working efficiently, proactively and Health and Safety conscious in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Meet or exceed established accuracy levels.
- Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
Desirable Criteria:
- Three years of operations experience with information systems or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Previous experience of ERP/WMS systems analytics.
- Working knowledge of outbound & inbound warehouse activities.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
- Competent in Microsoft packages (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Requirements:
- Analyses data, identifies opportunities and propose actions to increase the effectiveness of the Operations departments.
- Always follow Sysco preferred work methods, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
- Follow procedures to comply with HACCP policy.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your manager.
- Collaborates with Inbound and Outbound Warehouse management staff to maximize productivity.
