Salary: £43,999.00.
Shift Pattern: 5 days from 7 - 45 hours per week. You will work predominantly 1200-2130 but with flexibility to cover shifts of 0300-1230 & 1400-2330 as required. 10% hourly rate uplift between 1800-2200 & 20% hourly rate uplift between 2200-0600.
Responsibilities
- Identify and advise supervisors of any additional work required.
- Carry out work on site and complete it in a timely manner to DVSA standards.
- Reduce vehicle downtime to a minimum.
- Prioritise workload and choose tasks to complete yourself or assign to service providers while monitoring progress.
- Use compliance software and be comfortable with computer systems.
- Work independently using initiative or as an active member of the team, with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Qualified HGV Mechanic with relevant experience.
- Preferably experience in commercial vehicle maintenance (not essential).
