Job Description
Annual Salary £30,870 p.a. plus generous shift allowance
- Week 1 - 5 out of 7 nights
- Week 2 - 4 out of 7 nights
- (On rotation)
- Approximately 1 in 4 weekends. Start times 18:00, 20:00 or 22:00, tell us your preference at interview.

With Brakes, Driver's Mate is a great chance to work as part of the team with HGV drivers enroute. And our ongoing coaching afterwards means you can develop at your own pace.
As a multi-drop driver's mate, there'll never be a dull day. Delivering to a wide range of customers on well-planned routes, there will be some element of picking stock at each drop which breaks the driving up and keeps you active.
What you bring to the mix
- As someone who genuinely cares about providing a great service for customers and colleagues, you have what it takes to make a difference here:
- a good eye for detail and accuracy
- like being part of a team
- basic language skills and the ability to perform simple calculations
- comfortable working in a cold environment
- the ability to lift up to 25kg.
