We now have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital, commercial and Merchandising technology team, looking across SaaS solutions such as D365 and Salesforce. You will be acting as a technical senior business analyst across multiple projects, providing solutions that fulfil business requirements to ensure projects are able to be successfully completed to the highest standard. This is an essential role that requires the ability to develop business requirements into robust technical requirements that meet expected project timescale and budget.
This role will be translating functional and non-functional requirements into technology solutions whilst presenting options to support decision-making that consider both immediate needs and longer-term considerations across the business. Expect to work horizontally with solution architects and project managers from both the business and technical areas, operating across GB and EU markets, with the ability to clearly communicate at all levels and to foster the development of a community that shares best practice, all whilst continually looking for opportunities to improve processes. This role is offering flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days based in our Ashford, Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be within a commutable distance.
Key Accountabilities
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to elicit, interpret and capture business needs into clear and concise functional / non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Support business function in the prioritisation of requirements based on business value, ensuring they are aligned to the desired outcomes and case for change.
- Throughout the change lifecycle, work with business and technical teams, to ensure the recommended solution meets the needs of the business.
- Empowered to positively challenge and influence across teams if the requirement, solution, or case for change, to ensure alignment to the overarching business strategy and delivery roadmap.
- Key role in communicating cross-functionally between operational and technical teams, acting as a translator where necessary.
- Planning and managing small scale change where needed.
- Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunities remains up to date, appropriate and relevant, keeping up to date with BA methodologies.
About you

A knowledge of architecture and software products is required as well as an excellent understanding of data integration standards and technologies across Service Orientated Architecture, APIs, Data storage and extraction. The ideal candidate will have the confidence and ability to cope with complex, conflicting, business issues. Any prior experience in dealing with D365 or Salesforce is an advantage.
