About Syracus Labs: Syracus Labs is building the next generation of AI agents. We are creating AI agents with persistent memory that work together like a coordinated team - imagine having a tireless workforce that remembers every interaction, learns from experience, and orchestrates complex multi-step workflows autonomously. Our mission is to give every human and business an AI workforce that handles the mundane so they can focus on what matters. We’re at the earliest stage (pre-funding) and looking for a technical co-founder to join at the ground floor. Our first AI consumer agent is called Zoe.
The Role: I’m seeking a technical co-founder with a strong command over contemporary and emerging technologies, especially in generative AI. The initial product milestone will involve building an MVP, so this person must be proficient enough to code a fully working app independently. I need a partner who’s not afraid to challenge my ideas—a collaborator who can discern the feasibility of ideas from both an engineering and product perspective. Open, constructive debates are welcome; let’s innovate together. You’ll have significant ownership over technical architecture and product direction. As we grow, you’ll help build and lead a world-class engineering team.
Who You Are:
- Expert Engineer: You’re fluent in modern programming languages and frameworks (Python, TypeScript, React, Node.js etc.) and have experience with AI/ML, especially LLMs, agent architectures and fine-tuning (NLP, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI).
- Product Mindset: You care about user experience and can think beyond code to product-market fit.
- Builder: You’ve shipped products from scratch, ideally in a startup environment.
- Leader: You’re excited to build and mentor a team as the company grows.
- Collaborator: You value open communication, constructive debate, and shared decision-making.
- Mission-Driven: You believe AI agents will fundamentally change how we work.
What You’ll Do:
- Architect, build, and launch our MVP.
- Shape product strategy and technical roadmap.
- Integrate APIs / MCPs / AI agents / other tools into our core offering.
- Recruit and lead the engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with me (CEO/founder) on all aspects of the business.
