A leading manufacturer of high-end, high-performance rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist. This role manages the procurement of premium components for both standard catalogue production and bespoke, semi-custom builds. You will oversee supplier relationships and ensure material availability for a meticulous manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle for standard catalogue components and custom, semi-custom parts.
- Execute small-batch procurement strategies, balancing inventory holding costs with production agility.
- Maintain and optimize supplier relationships through rigorous account management.
- Utilize Salesforce and Unleashed software to track orders, manage stock levels, and update procurement data.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to source highly specific technical parts.
What We Are Looking For
- Systems Expertise: Proven experience using Salesforce and Unleashed inventory management software is essential.
