An exciting opportunity presents itself to join a leading luxury brand in a sales and project management role. A well-established organisation that provides linens and coverings to the ultra-luxury space, our customer has been steadily growing and is well known across the international luxury world for top-level products and being able to deliver on tight deadlines for demanding clients. Based on the south coast, they employ a team of 30 across manufacturing, supply chain and management to service the needs of a global client base.
As part of both continued growth and internal restructure, they are now looking to bring on a sales executive and project manager to manage the needs of existing customers and ensure their orders and requests can be managed from enquiry to delivery. Reporting into the MD, the role will include the following duties:
- Acting as the point of contact for all inbound enquiries, servicing the needs of customers and understanding their requirement brief
- Preparing and submitting accurate quotations and defining delivery schedules and availability
- Building lasting relationships with corporate and individual customers
- End to end project management of clients' orders
- Working with production and supply chain to define lead times, troubleshoot and deliver
- Liaising with the design team on custom orders
- Maintaining and updating client records through internal CRM
In a candidate, we are seeking someone with strong people skills and an interest in/experience in the luxury space, so someone from a yacht crew or private household background would be of real interest. You’ll need to be a people person, comfortable dealing with customers in person or on the phone and able to negotiate and advise based on their needs. With a strong organisational mind, you’ll be competent in recording data and information and communicating it internally.
The role itself is based in West Sussex and will be office-based; however, there will be regular travel to London (circa once a week) and at times a need to travel to events internationally to represent the business. On offer is a role in a great team that SYR have known for many years. A salary of £30-35,000 p.a. is offered alongside further incentives and bonuses. The role is also expected to offer continued career growth, so an ambitious individual is sought.
