A leading public sector organisation dedicated to advancing health education, professional development, and healthcare improvement across Wales is currently recruiting for a PowerApps Developer on a 6 month basis. Job overview To support the development of an NHS wide data and reporting application built in .Net Web App, Microsoft PowerApps – Model Driven App (MDA) and Canvas – with a Dataverse data store. The successful candidate will work alongside our developers and product teams on the project. Using Agile SCRUM and Azure DevOps, development tasks will be assigned for delivery through 2-week sprints which will then be peer reviewed and deployed. You will be expected to work on tickets assigned to you via the Microsoft Azure DevOps board and to keep tickets up to date with progress. Qualifications Essential – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals or equivalent experience. Essential – Microsoft Certified: .NET developer or equivalent experience. Essential/working towards – Microsoft Applied Skills: Create and manage model-driven apps with Power Apps and Dataverse. Desirable – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate. Desirable – Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. Skills and Experience Excellent experience developing Web Applications with .Net. Excellent experience with Microsoft PowerApps (MDA with C#/JavaScript and/or Canvas with Power Fx) and/or Dynamics 365 CRM development. Experience with Power App solution deployments and Web App deployments using pipelines. Good experience with Azure services to include Functions and Service Bus. Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dataverse. Experience in the management of the defect lifecycle. Experience of using 'app registrations' and 'service principles' to achieve functionality within applications built in Microsoft environments. Experience of using 'Microsoft Dataverse Web API' and Graph API. Knowledge of data security in Microsoft Dataverse. Ability to communicate with staff up to a senior level on complex business or clinical processes. Knowledge of underlying principles of MVC development, relational data and data-driven applications.
