About the role
As a Raw Materials Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our production teams have everything they need, exactly when they need it. You’ll work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams, developing skills that are critical to any successful supply‑chain career.
What you’ll be doing
- Material Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and schedule raw materials and packaging to support production demand
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to maintain continuity of supply
- Balance inbound deliveries across the week to keep operations running smoothly
- Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with procurement strategy
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supply issues proactively
- Track supplier performance, including On‑Time‑In‑Full (OTIF)
- International Logistics
- Coordinate imports into the UK, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
- Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers to manage inbound shipments
- Planning, Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain daily tracking tools and requirement checks
- Contribute to monthly planning cycles and forward forecasts
- Highlight risks, shortages, and changes to key stakeholders
- Problem Solving & Collaboration
- Troubleshoot supply disruptions and delivery delays
- Work cross‑functionally with Procurement, Finance, Production, and R&D
- Support supplier issue resolution and continuous improvement activities
