We’re looking for a driven, curious Internal Auditor to join our Group Finance – Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a global, commercial environment and deliver real impact—providing independent assurance to senior leadership, including the Executive Committee and Board.
You’ll play a key role in delivering our global audit plan, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business while gaining exposure to a wide range of operations and processes across an international organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Audit Planning
- Develop a strong understanding of audit areas and core business processes
- Conduct research and risk assessments using both internal and external data
- Design detailed, risk-focused audit test programmes
- Audit Fieldwork
- Perform walkthroughs and assess control design and effectiveness
- Deliver audit fieldwork independently, maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure all audit documentation is complete, accurate, and well-evidenced
- Audit Reporting
- Produce clear, concise, and impactful audit reports
- Present findings to stakeholders and agree practical, value-adding action plans
- Management Actions
- Support the tracking and reporting of audit findings
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of agreed actions
- Planning & Projects
- Contribute to the annual risk-based internal audit plan
- Take part in ad-hoc reviews and project work across the business
What we’re looking for:
- Essential:
- Degree-level education (please include final grade/score)
- Professional qualification in Accounting or Internal Audit (CIA, ACA or equivalent)
- Experience in Internal or External Audit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Desirable:
- Experience using data analytics to enhance audit testing
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools for research and productivity
- Commercial awareness with a proactive, logical approach
